People all over the world join together to finance an idea and KIVA will make sure that this financial aid reaches the people who need it. The financial aid that is received for these projects is not charity. Generally, these investors will receive the complete loaned amount back.
As soon as the business is successful, the borrower will start paying back this loan, without interest, to the KIVA account. Every month, the investors will take their part of the payment, which they can either invest in a new project or keep it for their own usage.
